China, Pakistan Anti-Terror Efforts Likely to Continue

25 November 2011

China and Pakistan have teamed up to put forward their anti-terror efforts. This is due to terrorist groups that dwell along the Afghan border such as the Uyghur’s. The Uyghur militants are present in Taliban parts of northwest Pakistan. China considers this group a threat because they train alongside terrorist from around the world. These groups are aiding separatism in China and plotting terrorist attacks, China must be ready. To prepare for any attack, China and Pakistan are running mock terrorist hideouts and bomb making factories while choppers fly low across the valley. The Pakistan General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani stated “Terrorism is something which is a threat to china, in some ways, and to other countries in the world as well. There is a need to share our experiences with our Chinese friends.” Mock operations are likely to continue.
