Somalia's President Criticizes Kenya's Mission

SOMALIA- With Kenya's operation against Al-Shabaab being in its tenth day, President Sharif Ahmed of Somalia has said the operation began without him fully informed. According to the president, "Somalia's government and its people will not allow forces entering its soil without prior agreement". These comments came about while at least 2,000 Kenya soldiers are hunting Al-Shabaab extremists in Somalia. Demonstrations in favor of Kenya's intervention and against President Sharid Ahmed's comments stirred up in a border town of Somalia. Gadi Farah, an elder from Dhobley said, "We want Kenya and Somalia to fight al-Shabaab in every corner. We do not have any other hope for life."
